True Shift Steel Carrying Case

The TRUE SHIFT Steel Carrying Case protects spare skate runners and keeps them organized inside a goalie bag. Its durable rubber construction is designed to hold two complete sets of steel, or four individual runners, along with compatible BenchChange tools. Carrying a sharpened backup pair can prevent a damaged edge or broken runner from ending a practice or game, while the enclosed case keeps sharp blades separated from uniforms and protective equipment.

Using and maintaining the case

Dry every runner completely before placing it in the case. Moisture trapped against steel can cause corrosion, even on coated or stainless blades. Mark matched pairs so they remain together after profiling and sharpening, and inspect the edges before each use. The case protects steel during normal transport but should not be treated as a rigid crush-proof container or used to store wet runners for extended periods.

Store a pair of TRUE 3mm stainless goalie steel, TRUE 3mm DLC goalie steel or TRUE-JRZ 3mm Attack steel. Confirm holder compatibility and have every backup pair sharpened before adding it to the bag.
