TRUE Catalyst Nitro Pro Senior Blocker

The TRUE Catalyst Nitro Pro Senior blocker is a professional-level blocker that builds on TRUE’s previous Catalyst PX5 platform.

The stocked The Goalie Crease specification uses a 595 build with an Opti Angle blocker board. This construction creates a different board and hand-positioning option from the 615 build used in several current retail TRUE blockers.

Unlike the Nitro Pro specification listed above, the retail Nitro Senior uses a 615 bindingless blocker board. Removing perimeter binding creates a clean board edge and maximizes the usable blocking surface.

A half-piece wrist cuff is designed to preserve mobility so the goalie can rotate the blocker, control the stick and direct rebounds. The Suregrip palm helps maintain a secure connection with the stick shaft.

TRUE Catalyst Nitro Junior Blocker

Bindingless TRUE Blocker Boards

Many current TRUE blockers use a bindingless board face. Removing perimeter binding creates a clean edge around the blocker and maximizes the usable front surface.

A bindingless construction can also reduce the possibility of exterior binding wearing or separating from the blocker face.

The board should still be inspected regularly for cracks, soft areas, distorted edges or internal damage. Bindingless does not mean the blocker is immune to wear.
