Warrior F2 Goalie Masks
Warrior’s F2 goalie mask family includes professional, performance and junior models designed around different shell materials, internal foam systems and fit requirements. The available Warrior mask listings at The Goalie Crease may include F2 Pro and F2 E+ options in senior and junior sizing.
Depending on current inventory, this collection may include:
- Warrior R/F2 Senior Pro goalie mask
- Warrior R/F2 E+ Senior goalie mask
- Warrior R/F2 E+ Junior goalie mask
Product availability, sizing and cage configurations can change. Always review the exact mask listing to confirm whether the cage is certified, what size is being selected and whether the mask is appropriate for your league.
Warrior R/F2 Senior Pro Goalie Mask
The
Warrior R/F2 Senior Pro goalie mask
is the highest-level Warrior model currently represented in this collection. It is designed for experienced senior goalies seeking Warrior’s more advanced combination of shell construction, internal impact management and professional-style fit.
Warrior combines IMPAX and X-Foam inside the F2 Pro. X-Foam is positioned around important impact areas such as the forehead, while moulded dual-density IMPAX foams contribute to the fit, comfort and impact-management system.
The shell uses Warrior’s higher-level Minimus Carbon construction to create a strong, lightweight structure. Warrior’s OMNISHOCK+ approach is designed around the shell and liner working together rather than treating them as separate components.
Additional F2 Pro features may include:
- FANTOM FIT internal shaping
- IMPAX and X-Foam impact-management materials
- OMNISHOCK+ moulded dual-density foam system
- Lightweight Minimus Carbon shell construction
- Polygiene-treated sweatband
- Adjustable chin cup and optimized chin movement
- Low-profile or no-show backplate harness
- Padded mask storage bag
The F2 Pro may be appropriate for competitive and high-level senior goalies who regularly face harder shots and want Warrior’s premium mask construction. Proper fit must still take priority over model level.
Warrior R/F2 E+ Senior Goalie Mask
The
Warrior R/F2 E+ Senior goalie mask
provides many of Warrior’s F2 fit and comfort concepts at a lower price point than the Senior Pro model.
The F2 E+ Senior uses IMPAX foam and moulded dual-density materials within Warrior’s OMNISHOCK+ system. FANTOM FIT is used to create the internal shape and help the mask sit securely around the goalie’s head.
Warrior uses Minimus Carbon construction to reinforce the shell while maintaining a manageable overall weight. The mask also includes a Polygiene-treated sweatband, adjustable chin support and a traditional backplate harness with performance-level elastic straps.
The F2 E+ Senior may suit competitive, recreational and frequent-use adult goalies who want a composite Warrior mask without requiring the additional X-Foam and upgraded construction of the F2 Pro.
Warrior R/F2 E+ Junior Goalie Mask
The
Warrior R/F2 E+ Junior goalie mask
is designed for younger goalies who require a smaller shell and internal fit than a senior mask.
The junior F2 E+ uses IMPAX foam and dual-density internal materials to provide protection and comfort in dimensions intended for developing players. Warrior’s FANTOM FIT shaping helps position the mask around the child’s head, while the chin system is designed to allow comfortable movement and adjustment.
Its construction may include:
- Junior-specific shell dimensions
- IMPAX internal foam
- OMNISHOCK dual-density foam construction
- Minimus Carbon-reinforced shell materials
- Polygiene-treated sweatband
- Adjustable chin cup
- Traditional backplate harness
- Padded storage bag
A junior goalie should not be moved into a senior mask simply to create additional growing room. The mask must remain securely connected to the head and position the eyes correctly within the cage opening.
Warrior F2 Pro vs. F2 E+ Senior
The F2 Pro and F2 E+ Senior share several Warrior fit and comfort concepts, but they differ in their impact-management materials, shell construction and intended performance level.
Warrior F2 Pro
- Premium senior mask construction
- IMPAX foam combined with targeted X-Foam
- Higher-level Minimus Carbon shell
- OMNISHOCK+ integrated shell-and-liner design
- FANTOM FIT internal shaping
- Low-profile backplate harness
- Designed for competitive and high-level use
Warrior F2 E+ Senior
- Performance-focused senior construction
- IMPAX moulded foam system
- Minimus Carbon-reinforced shell
- OMNISHOCK+ dual-density internal foams
- FANTOM FIT internal shaping
- Traditional backplate harness
- Lower price point than the F2 Pro
The F2 Pro may suit goalies seeking Warrior’s more advanced impact-management package. The F2 E+ may provide the better balance for goalies who want a composite Warrior mask with dependable fit and protection at a lower cost.
Head shape and fit should remain the deciding factors. A properly fitted F2 E+ is preferable to an F2 Pro that does not sit securely on the goalie’s head.
Senior and Junior Warrior Goalie Masks
Warrior F2 masks are available in size categories designed for different head dimensions. Senior and junior do not describe protection alone—they also refer to the physical shell, cage and internal fit dimensions.
Senior Warrior Goalie Masks
Senior F2 masks are generally intended for adult-sized heads. Depending on the model, senior sizing may include combinations such as small/medium, medium/large and large/extra-large.
The correct senior size depends on circumference, head shape, cheek width, forehead profile and how the backplate and chin cup position the mask.
Junior Warrior Goalie Masks
Junior Warrior masks use smaller shell and cage dimensions for younger goalies. Junior sizing should hold the child’s head securely without painful pressure or excessive space around the sides, forehead or backplate.
A young goalie may require a junior mask even when they are tall for their age. Mask sizing is based on the head rather than overall height or other equipment sizes.
How Should a Warrior Goalie Mask Fit?
A Warrior goalie mask should fit closely enough that it moves with the goalie’s head. The shell should not slide independently when the goalie looks upward, downward or from side to side.
Important fitting areas include:
- Forehead contact and pressure
- Cheek and temple security
- Side-to-side movement
- Backplate positioning
- Chin placement inside the cup
- Cage position in relation to the eyes
- Clearance around the nose and face
- Harness tension and adjustment range
The mask should remain secure without creating painful pressure points. Excessive movement can indicate that the mask is too large, incorrectly adjusted or unsuitable for the goalie’s head shape.
Measuring for a Warrior Goalie Mask
Head circumference provides a useful starting point, but it does not completely determine fit. Head width, forehead shape, facial profile and the position of the chin can affect which mask size fits properly.
When contacting our team for sizing assistance, include:
- The goalie’s age
- Head circumference
- Current mask brand, model and size
- Any pressure points in the current mask
- Whether the current mask moves during play
- Playing level and frequency
- The Warrior model being considered
Whenever possible, try on the mask and evaluate how it fits while the chin cup, backplate and harness are properly adjusted.
Warrior FANTOM FIT
Warrior uses FANTOM FIT across the F2 models represented in this collection. It refers to the internal shaping and fit characteristics designed to position the shell and padding around the goalie’s head.
The fit system cannot compensate for selecting the wrong shell size. The internal padding should maintain consistent contact without creating severe pressure or leaving large unsupported spaces.
Warrior OMNISHOCK and OMNISHOCK+
Warrior’s OMNISHOCK systems combine the shell and internal foam package as part of the complete mask design. Depending on the model, the construction may use moulded dual-density IMPAX foam and additional targeted materials.
The F2 Pro includes IMPAX and X-Foam, while the F2 E+ models rely primarily on IMPAX and dual-density moulded foam construction.
Internal foam should be inspected regularly. Foam that has become damaged, compressed or detached can change how the mask fits and should be evaluated before continued use.
Warrior Minimus Carbon Shell Construction
Warrior uses different levels of Minimus Carbon construction throughout the F2 family. The F2 Pro receives the higher-level shell package, while the F2 E+ senior and junior models use model-specific carbon-reinforced constructions.
Shell material should always be considered together with fit, liner condition, cage certification and the speed of shots being faced. A higher-level shell does not make an improperly fitted mask suitable.
Certified and Non-Certified Warrior Mask Cages
Warrior’s broader F2 lineup includes certified square-bar and certified cat-eye cage configurations as well as selected non-certified options.
Before ordering or using a Warrior mask, confirm:
- The certification of the exact mask and cage combination
- Whether the cage is approved for the goalie’s league
- Compatibility with the selected shell size
- The condition of the cage and mounting hardware
- Whether all required certification labels remain present
A non-certified cage may not be permitted in minor hockey, sanctioned adult leagues or other organized play. Certification requirements should be verified before purchase.
Warrior Goalie Mask Sightlines
The goalie’s eyes should sit in the intended viewing area of the cage. The mask should allow the goalie to track the puck without tilting the head unnaturally to see between the bars.
Cage shape, eye position, chin placement and backplate adjustment all affect the sightline. A mask that sits too high or low may reduce visibility even when the shell circumference appears correct.
Chin Cup and Backplate Adjustment
The chin cup and backplate help position the goalie’s face and secure the shell. The chin should remain comfortably seated without allowing the mask to lift or rotate excessively.
Backplate straps should be tightened evenly. Overtightening one strap can pull the mask off-centre, while loose or stretched elastic may allow unwanted movement.
Inspect the harness, buckles, clips and chin components regularly and replace worn parts with compatible Warrior components.
Warrior Mask Accessories and Replacement Parts
Warrior offers accessories and replacement components for selected F2 masks, including cages, sweatbands, chin cups, harnesses, hardware and throat protection.

Confirm the exact Warrior model and size before ordering. Similar-looking cages, straps and hardware should not be assumed to fit every F2 mask.
Goalie Mask and Chest Protector Clearance
The mask should move freely without repeatedly catching on the chest protector’s neckline or shoulder floaters.
The goalie should be able to:
- Look down toward the puck
- Turn toward either post
- Track shots above the shoulders
- Move the head without the mask lifting
- Hold a normal stance without chest-protector interference

Neck and Throat Protection
A Warrior goalie mask is one component of a complete head and neck protection setup. Goalies should also wear appropriate neck and throat protection based on age, league requirements and level of play.

Neck protection should work comfortably with the mask and chest protector without restricting head movement or creating unnecessary gaps.
Inspecting a Warrior Goalie Mask
Inspect the mask regularly and after significant impacts. Stop using it if the shell, cage, padding or attachment system appears structurally compromised.
Check for:
- Cracks, chips or soft areas in the shell
- Bent, broken or rusted cage bars
- Loose cage clips and mounting hardware
- Damaged or stretched backplate straps
- Compressed, loose or deteriorated foam
- Damage around the chin cup
- Changes in how securely the mask fits
Damage is not always visible from the outside. A mask that feels different after a major impact should be assessed before the goalie returns to play.
Caring for a Warrior Goalie Mask
Remove the mask from the equipment bag after every practice and game. Allow the shell, internal foam, cage, sweatband and straps to dry completely in a ventilated area.
Wipe away moisture and replace worn sweatbands when needed. Avoid harsh chemicals, excessive heat or cleaning methods that could damage the shell, padding, adhesives or cage finish.
Do not leave the mask inside a hot vehicle for extended periods because high temperatures may affect foams, adhesives and other materials.
When Should a Warrior Goalie Mask Be Replaced?
A Warrior mask may need replacement when it no longer fits properly, the shell or cage is damaged or the internal materials have significantly deteriorated.
Replacement or professional assessment may be appropriate when:
- The shell is cracked or structurally damaged
- The cage is bent, broken or heavily corroded
- The mask moves despite proper adjustment
- The internal foam has compressed or deteriorated
- The backplate or harness can no longer secure the mask
- A growing goalie no longer fits the shell
- The certification is unsuitable for the goalie’s league
Choosing the Right Warrior Goalie Mask
When comparing Warrior goalie masks, consider:
- Head circumference and head shape
- Senior or junior shell sizing
- F2 Pro or F2 E+ construction
- IMPAX and X-Foam impact-management materials
- Internal fit and pressure points
- Cage shape and certification
- Chin and backplate adjustment
- Playing level and shot exposure
- Compatibility with neck and chest protection
- Availability of replacement parts
Proper fit and appropriate certification should take priority over model level, appearance or price.
