NASH V-SHAPE SR. LEXAN THROAT PROTECTOR

The Nash V-Shape Senior Lexan Throat Protector adds a clear protective panel below a goalie mask to help cover areas the mask shell and cage do not reach. Its senior V-shaped profile is designed to hang from the mask while allowing the head and neck to move through stance, tracking and recovery movements.

Fitting a hanging throat protector

Attach the string evenly on both sides of the mask so the protector remains centred below the cage. Set the height low enough to cover the vulnerable throat area but high enough that the panel does not bind against the chest protector or interfere when the goalie looks down. Tie secure knots, trim only unnecessary excess and inspect the string before every skate.

Important: A throat protector is one part of a complete goalie protection setup. It must not be used to compensate for an improperly fitted mask or neck guard. Replace the protector if it cracks, becomes deeply damaged or cannot hang securely.
