NASH U-SHAPE LEXAN THROAT PROTECTOR

The Nash U-Shape Lexan Throat Protector adds a clear hanging layer below a goalie mask to help cover the exposed throat area between the cage and chest protection. Its rounded U-shaped profile provides an alternative to Nash’s V-shaped models and can be adjusted to suit the mask and upper-body equipment combination.

Positioning the U-Shape protector

Hang the protector evenly below the cage so it covers the open throat area without sitting directly against the neck. Adjust the string until the goalie can rotate the head, track downward and recover from the butterfly without the panel catching on the chest protector. Secure the knots and inspect the string and Lexan before every skate.

Important: A hanging throat protector supplements a complete goalie protection system. It does not replace a properly fitted mask, neck guard or chest protector. Discontinue use if the panel cracks, develops severe damage or cannot remain securely attached.
