The protector hangs from the cage and moves with the mask, allowing it to cover the gap between the mask and chest protector while preserving head mobility.

Installation and inspection

Attach the protector evenly through suitable cage openings and adjust it so the throat remains covered without the plastic hitting the chest protector or rising into the sightline. Inspect the protector, laces and mounting holes before every use. Replace it immediately if the plastic cracks, develops sharp edges or shows damage around the attachment points. A dangler does not replace certified neck protection where required.
