Bauer Exposed Back Plate Harness

The Bauer Exposed Back Plate Harness is a replacement retention system associated with the S22 Bauer NME ONE goalie mask. Its open-centre layout leaves more of the backplate visible than a traditional one-piece harness while maintaining multiple elastic attachment points around the shell. It is intended for goalies replacing stretched or damaged straps on the compatible NME ONE setup.

Installation and fit

Install the harness using the correct Bauer clips and original mounting locations, then adjust each strap evenly. The backplate should remain centred and the mask should not pull upward or forward when the goalie moves. A harness cannot correct an incorrectly sized shell or compressed liner. Replace damaged clips and inspect mounting holes whenever the straps are serviced.
