Fit the knee guards with the full setup

Wear the guards over the normal base layer and test them with goalie pants, socks and leg pads. The knee should remain centred in the cradle while standing and dropping, and the upper protection should overlap the pant without creating a gap. Adjust the straps firmly enough to prevent rotation without restricting circulation. Knee guards supplement properly fitted leg pads and pants and should not be used to compensate for equipment that is the wrong size.
