Choose intermediate sizing by physical fit

Intermediate knee pads are appropriate when the senior version is too long or loose, but the protective pieces must still overlap correctly with the pant and leg pad. Fit them in full lower-body equipment and check that the knee remains centred inside the cup. The thigh plate should not catch under the pant or push the leg pad outward. Recheck strap tension after warm-up because base layers can compress during play.
