Brian's Pad Carry Strap

Brian's Pad Carry Strap gives goalies a simple way to carry modern leg pads that no longer include traditional leather carry straps. The strap loops through secure areas of the pads and fastens back onto itself, creating a shoulder carry point for the walk between the vehicle, dressing room and rink. It is especially useful for lightweight pads with simplified elastic strapping that is not intended to support the full weight of both pads during transport.

Attach only to secure pad areas

Route the strap through strong, non-sharp attachment areas and avoid lace, elastic or trim that could tear under the combined weight of the pads. Fasten the hook-and-loop sections completely before lifting. The carry strap is intended for transport, not for hanging wet pads over long periods. After each use, check the webbing and closure for fraying, contamination or reduced grip before placing the pads over a shoulder.
