A third-generation, family-owned and operated retail sporting goods store which began with Ward and Patch Sports in 1950 and evolved into The Goalie Crease. We are one of the largest, independent, goalies-only e-commerce retailers in North America. Customer service is our primary focus at The Goalie Crease and we excel at making sure our customer is properly outfitted. We know that being a goaltender is expensive and will always recommend based on your needs instead of your wants. We think that says a lot in this day and age.
About Us
The Goalie Crease was born in 2003 and, since opening, we have grown rapidly to become one of the most recognizable Goaltending Retailers in the World and the only Goaltending Specialized Retailer in the Greater Toronto Area. With 4000 square feet of wall-to-wall goaltending equipment, we are able to display a wide arrangement of gear in all price categories.
That is just the tip of the iceberg. We also have a storage facility equal to our retail space which houses a huge inventory at all times to provide the right piece of gear to match your needs. This capacity allows us to buy in large quantities and pass along the savings to our valued customers.
It gets better. We have also installed a mini arena to allow you to experience the feel of a new piece of gear before it ever hits the ice, or you spend any of your hard-earned money. The opportunity to try before you buy creates fantastic results and helps make your purchasing decision much easier.
